Skagit Valley, WA has become the 45th Certified Community Wildlife Habitat in the nation, and is the 10th community in Washington to receive this honor from the National Wildlife Federation.
The project partnered with a great many organizations, including the Skagit Conservation District and even the Mt. Vernon Police Department.
In all 227 homes, 5 farms, 2 businesses, 5 parks and 2 churches were certified.
