Monarch Adult Sighted

Date: 08/24/2010

Number: 1

Students found a male monarch in the bus driveway. They were worried that it would get run over because it seemed to be injured. We put the Monarch in our butterfly habitat tank to let it rest. We offered it fruit juice. We released it the next day. Today (8/27/10) we found what is believed to be the same male in the Outdoor Teaching Lab where it was released. It is still not flying well. My observation time: I was watching for ___ hours and ___ minutes.
