Monarchs continue to come to my budliea (butterfly bush) and are also fueling up at my Jerusalem Artichoke (wild sunflower).
I also tried my hand at raising monarchs this year and will have 6 hand reared butterflies in about a week. I currently have 4 chrysalis and 2 caterpillars in their last instar. I reared them from eggs that I saw "mom" lay on milkweed in my backyard. I'm very excited! My observation time: I was watching for _4__ hours and _0__ minutes.
