Hummingbird Sighting

Date: 08/28/2010

Number: 1

2 ruby throated hummingbirds have been chasing each other all summer around the 3 feeders I hang out every April. 1 male, 1 female. As of today, a 3rd one has joined them, a female. So today's count is 2 female, 1 male.

This afternoon in the backyard, I was spraying out a birdbath and one hummer took a break from sipping from cardinal flowers to wing around in the hose spray. A joyful sight.
