Monarch Fall Roost

Date: 08/15/2010

Number: 40

Monarchs were gathering behind our cottage, in the cedars, on the shores of Lake Huron. They were roosting in numbers of 30 or 40. When you walked down the lane, they dropped from their perches, fluttered, and reassembled on the branches. It was very lovely.
