There is a definite increase in the number of monarchs in the past couple days, today being the most. I tagged a dozen today at my garden (80 and sunny), 6 on 8/25 and 4 on 8/27. They do not seem to have directional flight today, more interested in nectar at my butterfly bushes. My observation time: I was watching for 30minutes.
