Im excited to say that in the 9 years Ive collected eggs and caterpillars, I got to tag my first monarch today. She was a tattered female. I dont get to see them in the wild much, so that was fun!
I found 10 eggs and 1 1st instar on Showy Milkweed near the Rio Grande River in Albuquerque today. We have 14 in their chrysalides.
