I have been raising Monarch caterpillars for nearly thirty years. What started as a project with my son, became a life passion for myself . . . long since my child became a man. Milkweed grows in groupings of five or more in the fields and within my gardens. I also grow many flowers for the butterflies to feed upon throughout the summer and fall. I have been documenting and observing their metamorphosis with great joy for these many years.
