Several butterflies observed flying in south-west direction at 15 meters or higher off the ground at the Kenesserie Tall Grass Prairie. Up until now Monarchs have spent most of their time near the ground visiting milkweed plants and lying eggs but now more butterflies are observed in directional flight well off the ground. My observation time: I was watching for 30 minutes.
