I filled the feeders and was very lucky for the hummingbirds (two) returned. With camera in hand I sat and waited for some time.
They kept chasing each other and would swoop over me.
Eventually one perched on a vine close to the feeder, the other hummer was gone. As I began to take pics, suddenly the hummer came straight at me - then stopped and fluttered an arms lenght in front of me.It return to the vine and sat for awhile as I slowely moved in for the shot. It knew I was there and wanted me to "just take the picture" and get out of here. It posed for me, took pics and left the area. I continued to watch from the deck and the other hummer never returned.
