There has been a constant flow of Monarchs this week. Usually about 12-15 at 3 locations in my yard, those being the butterfly plant patch with the least, a huge Walnut tree and a Bartlet pear tree with ripe fruit dropping being the favorite. The pear tree has Swallowtails, Monarchs and 3 other types of butterfly that I don't know the name of. My observation time: I was watching for _1__ hours and __15_ minutes. I walked out at different times of the day to watch and there seemed to be more activity when it less hot.
