Gene S and I spent about 90 minutes late this morning mostly walking around the new meadow at Reynolda Gardens of Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem. While there were a few Rudbeckia and aster blossoms, the main butterfly attractant was Autumn Clematis (Clematis ternifolia).
