Feeder activity has slowed down over the past two days. We are spotting hummers, one at a time, visiting the feeder about four to five times a day. We are always home, so my husband and I randomly observe the feeder from dawn to dusk. The days of aerial battles and fighting for top gun at the feeder seem to have past; I have not observed this behavior for at least two days. So, I am wondering do the neighborhood hummers leave all at once or in stages? Do hummers from north in Canada find our feeder on their way south?
