We have not seen a single bird for two days now (since August 30th). A point to ponder. Scientists have confirmed that geomagnetic storms originating on our Sun have an effect on the navigation abilities of migratory birds. Could the approach of Hurricane Earl and the changes in atmospheric conditions associated with this large storm have tiggered some internal message to the little birds that it is time to leave quickly, while it is safe enough to do so ?
