Our third grade class has five different bird feeders and a small butterfly garden right outside our room. Last week school started and we have four Anna hummingbirds visiting us throughout the day. During our free class time we watch them through our big window. We are recording all of the different birds that we see together. So far we have seen seven different types of birds! We also have a bird bath that all of the birds enjoy and a bluebird house that we hope will be used this spring.
