3pm CST, mid-70's, sunny, light breeze -- PERFECT day in Minnesota! And I have GREAT news!! After 3-4 days of only 8-10 monarchs feeding out front, today I had over 25 monarchs!!! HOORAY!! In an earlier post I mentioned a neighbor is tending to monarch eggs and I'm wondering if he has released more butterflies. Again, many of the monarchs I saw today were a bit more petite in size -- i'm guessing females (go girls!!) Anyway, everyone looks healthy, they're feeding like crazy, the laitris blooms are still holding out -- so far so good...!! The next couple of days are to have similar weather so i'm hoping my friends stick around a bit longer, bulk up and rest before their long journey ahead! More tomorrow...! pm, a busy city street in minneapolis, mn My observation time: I was watching for ___ hours and _30__ minutes.
