several monarchs nectaring on the goldenrod and the asters. Monarch females (2) laying eggs in group camping area of Presquile Park this afternoon - very hot and sunny day with a strong breeze off the lake. many caterpillars (more than I have ever seen)chewing away on the milkweed plants... what a great year for a monarch! My observation time: I was watching for __1_ hours and ___ minutes.
