A single monarch was flying southwest about 5:30 p.m. through the city of Portsmouth. I always worry about Monarchs flying at around 10 feet and crossing lots of streets. Might we be involved in a huge evolution experiment - selecting high flying over low flying monarchs as the result of vehicle traffic? My observation time: I was watching for ___ hours and _2_ minutes.
