Paul and I were driving to New Liskeard and going thru' Elk Lake ( 43
kms from  Gowganda) when  a Monarch flew towards the windshield and
was diverted over the top of the car...he was lucky we were only going
40 kmph..
He was the only Monarch we saw on the trip.
