Observed 50+ Monarchs roosting in our backyard trees this evening (9/2). We also noticed multiple injured monarchs in our yard this morning (9/2) after a heavy thunderstorm and wind overnight. My 7 year old son, Nathan, noticed multiple injured monarchs in the grass at school this morning, as well.

Nectar Sources: We have a few flowers in our yard and our neighbors have a few, as well. There is also a butterfly garden at the fairgrounds in town, which is about a block away from our house.
