Female hummingbirds are still frequenting my garden to feed on Scarlet Runner Bean flowers. Have not seen any males. Hurricane Earl is about to hit outer Cape Cod late this evening, where I live. It has decreased in strength and will probably be a Cat 1 when it arrives. Still strong gusts for hummers so I hope they survive!
