Had the joy of watching an injured monarch ( pieces from bottom sections of both wings were torn away ) fly around my back deck inspecting all the lantana baskets. The butterfly surely felt right at home to the point that it almost ended up in a bee-catching jar hanging there. Sure hope the little creature makes it! Perhaps there will be others visiting me in the next few weeks. If not that little one made my summer. My observation time: I was watching for _1__ hours and __20_ minutes.
