I thought I saw my last hummingbird-08/31/2010-was sad but still put out the feeder-no change for a day then when I came home from work the 2 small feeders(who knows why they choose what feeders-they all have the same stuff!) were down by about an inch! I knew my resident was gone and i thought Gee can this stuff evaporate in feeders! Well tonight at 5:00 i saw a hummingbird at my feeder and now I know there are two! Each feeder is down about the same so some are still here!! Yeah I get to feed them for a little more time-stragglers I am sure but who cares! We have a downgraded Earl storm coming tonight but am waiting to take the feeders down till Earl comes! And new fresh feeders will be up tomorrow Am Yeah!!!
