We are seeing more hummers now than in the spring or so far this summer. They were zooming around our feeders and flowers this afternoon and evening--feeding and chasing each other. They light in the trees, on top of the feeders, on the shepherd's hooks, on dried flower spikes, everywhere. We have seen fewer this year than last year. There were six or seven at a time today.
