Monarch Fall Roost

Date: 09/04/2010

Number: 200

Around 7pm we saw a few Monarchs flying on the north side of our home. We walked to the south around 7:30 pm CST and saw a few more flying. Then, we noticed hundreds of them roosting in our locust trees. They were mostly on the south side of the trees. We are estimating a minimum of 200 monarchs based on observer’s estimate of “hundreds.”
