Several hummers in the backyard this afternoon, including 3 at once doing loops & small fights for the feeder & the blooming torch tithonia. About 4pm a single hummer flew in & spent several minutes circling & trying to figure out the feeder. After trying to feed in the center (where there is no feeder hole) it got a short drink & was off again. Hopefully this hummer's migration will become more successful as it encounters more feeders. Fly on!
