I had 18 hummers here with the new hatchlings. The males have been gone for 3 weeks now. I still have 4 female hummingbirds here this morning. Am not looking forward to their leaving and no longer hearing the whir of their wings and the cheep cheep cheep calls. It was a wonderful summer here and the hummers had good weather and good feeding.
