Noticed 9 monarch butterflies of both sexes nectaring and laying eggs on milkweed. Also, noticed a pair of mockingbirds who flew in and took two of the monarchs that were attempting to mate. One dead male monarch was seen dead on the road. My observation time: I was watching for ___ hours and ___ minutes.
