Monarch Adult Sighted

Date: 09/05/2010

Number: 1

Lots of Monarchs flying around our yard this morning and afternoon while I've been doing garden chores and cleanuup. I believe this indicates the last bunch of cats that I've been watching devour the common milkweed have gotten their wings! They're visiting the butterfly bushes and sedum "Autumn Joy." Quite a few have also been flying way up over the tall trees that surround our yard and heading in a generally southerly direction -- they have a beautiful day for flying here, the temp is high 60s, sunny, and just a light breeze. My observation time: I was watching for _6__ hours and ___ minutes. (intermittently)
