There are still 4-6 hummingbirds here, mostly female or juveniles although I did see one flash a red gorget today. There also are one or two new hummers who have to adjust to the feeders. They are chasing and seldom sit still for very long.I hope they stay at least a couple of weeks longer. Usually they are gone by Sept. 20.
