Monarch Fall Roost

Date: 08/30/2010

Number: 200

We had probably 100-200 monarchs in our grove. They seemed to be resting, as it was late afternoon when we spotted them.

September 7
We have noticed that the roost has disappeared almost over night with strong winds and cooler temps. We live in the country and have soybeans and sweet corn and field corn surrounding us. It was really cool to see the monarchs.
