Saw a female monarch about 10 AM while walking my dog. The monarch was "nervously" flitting 2 to 3 feet off the ground in apparent purposeless flight, pausing momentarily on a grass but not approaching any of the infrequent nectar plants. My observation time: I was watching for ___ hours and 10___ minutes.
