I have seen 4 monarch butterflies flying in the farm field near my home this afternoon. We have some Maple trees growing there and they seemed to enjoy being around these trees.

I just planted some Swamp Milkweed in the wetland area near there and noticed two small monarch caterpillars on the leaves.

On the lot down the road from us, there is alot of common milkweed growing, and I found two more caterpillars munching on the leaves of those milkweed plants as well. So I saw a total of 4 monarch caterpillars and 4 adult butterflies flying around here in Northeastern Pa today!

My observation time: I was watching for __1_ hours and ___ minutes.
