Monarch PEAK Migration

Date: 09/06/2010

Number: 1

While my husband and I were sitting on our back porch in St. Ignace, Michigan, this afternoon, we observed approximately 150 Monarchs flying from the east side of our property, coming over our garage, and heading out of sight toward the west, over our house. They came one at a time, or in small groups, no more than 4 in the group, and this went on for about 45 minutes. It was still happening when we came back inside, just now. 2:45pm My observation time: I was watching for ___ hours and 45___ minutes.
