We still have monarchs. It's been very windy in our area and our woodlot is somewhat protected so we thought maybe that was why they are still there.. In fact, we think there are more monarchs than when we first saw them.

September 3
Just want to report the monarchs that stopped in our yard during migration. Hundreds of monarchs spent the long holiday weekend (9/3-6)in the woodlot in our backyard.

Editor’s Note: We are estimating a minimum of 200 monarchs based on observer’s estimate of “hundreds.”
