Hummingbirds still busy; lots of flowers so getting natural necter. Was standing at my kitchen window on Sunday morning and bang something hit the window and fell straight down. I rushed outside to get there before my cats and it was a wee hummingbird laying dazed on the grass. I gently went to pick "him/her" up and it was making the strangest noises which sounded to me like distress/help me noises, they tugged at my heart. As I lifted it off the grass it just flew away but promptly ran into a tree then spun back and landed, I guess to gain its composure. It hit my window pretty hard. I presume all was well after it rested.
