I still have 4 or 5 hummers, getting fatter. I have at least one male, guarding one feeder, and chasing the others away. They are a lot more friendly, perched on the feeders,window feeders also, or branches for long periods of time, which makes it nice to watch them thru binoculars and identify them. We had a shower yesterday afteroon, and they swarmed around the feeders. The temp was 83 degrees, nice! The temp. now is 96 degrees, and I am watching a female hummer perched on a Jewel Box window feeder at ll:30 am. Awesome!
