I saw at least 3 hummingbirds around the feeders. One was definitely an adult male because I could his red throat when the sun hit him right. The others were less brightly colored. Two of them came right up to me even though I was maybe 20 feet away from the feeders. I noticed that the birds I saw today seemed to prefer the feeder without perches, while the birds I saw last week preferred the one with perches. I wonder if this means they are different birds?
