Saw another single lone monarch flying up from the river and across the yard...from the northeast towards the south. I have seen a number of monarchs repeat this pattern over the last week to two weeks. I live on a river so I think that they are following the river edge as a guide but if the take a short cut across the yard and my neighbors yards they can save a mile of flying. guess they know that! My observation time: I was watching for ___ hours and __5_ minutes.
