Last Friday, there were about 35 Monarch caterpillars on the milkweed in the garden..a teacher's assistant came to take about 20 to a school, I have ten in jars in the kitchen and three of those have gone into the chrysalis stage and there were 10 outside this morning..all are at various stages of development..this summer, I only saw two Monarchs and they were in different months...I must have missed some!
