Monarch PEAK Migration

Date: 09/02/2010

Number: 1

After three very windy days on the shore of Lake Michigan, Thursday 9/2/10 was a very calm day. From 8am until around 9pm I watched as thousands of monarchs floated south passed my cottage. About one every ten seconds in the first 2 hours. Some just above the dune grass, some very high against the trees. Amazing and beautiful! My observation time: I was watching for _2__ hours and ___ minutes.
