Consistent with our past experience, with the arrival of Labor Day I thought I'd seen my last Ruby Throat. None on Monday or Tuesday. Surprise - today I had a female visit the feeder several times. She may be the "last bird standing" since I've not seen any more than one at a time. Warmer weather tomorrow and Friday - maybe she'll stay around.
