This was not an actual peak migration, I don't suppose, but today on my double afternoon bus route I counted 50 monarchs. That is a BIG step up in numbers. By the way, trying to miss a monarch with the school bus you are driving is not a good idea. :~) My observation time: I was watching for 2 hours and 30 minutes.
