Went for a walk (9/7) to check on a deer stand and noticed nearly 100 Monarchs on the south side of the woodlot - they were mostly all flying, with only a few still on the roost. Very cool sighting in our highly agriculture landscape.

Editor's Note: We dated this roost sighting for Sept. 6, the night the roost formed. For consistency, we use the 'first night' date for all roosts even if they are not discovered until the following morning.)
