Hummingbird Sighting

Date: 09/09/2010

Number: 1

Still seeing two or three at a time here. This is weird, though. They seem to have an antogonistic relationship with the goldfinch. Twice in one day, a few weeks ago, I saw a ruby throat chasing away a female goldfinch. Yesterday, I actually saw a hummingbird physically attacking a goldfinch - actually bombarding it. I knew they were feisty, but sheesh! Good thing they're small.
