I live NE of DFW and saw some monarchs flitting about in a nearby garden center Saturday while I was shopping then when I got home I had one zipping around the yard.

A big fiesty male he was chasing the Queens off the mistflower and for good measure ran the Hummers away from their feeder as well.

This is my first year to tag so I was very pleased/excited to capture him and get him tagged/released with no hiccups.
