I saw one male monarch at noon in my bed of zinnias, industriously feeding on nectar and going from flower to flower. I was impressed at how it fed methodically in a circle.
I was not actively observing at the time. The bright orange caught my eye from my window. It was there for at least 10 minutes. Tried to take a picture and startled it. It has not returned in past 15 minutes. My observation time: I was watching for ___ hours and ___ minutes.
