I believe this is the first Monarch of the season for the Pollinator Garden at the Mesquite Creek Wildlife Habitat Area. It was a female, flitting around the three small Butterflyweed (asclepias tuberosa) that we have growing there, possibly laying eggs? Will check back for eggs in a few days. My observation time: I was watching for ___ hours and _10__ minutes.
