It is raining here today, and the ruby-throats are out and about as usual. Last evening I was sitting and watching them in the backyard where we have 4 large feeders and 2 small ones.
I noticed a female with something strange about her bill. It seemed to have something whitish stuck on the end of it, but it could still feed at the feeders. Also, there was a female or young male with a white patch on the top of its green head.
