Only saw four hummers in the area today and not certain if they were male or female RTHB's, but some of them were quite aggressive. There could be fewer hummers here now since there are not that many nectar plants at this time for them to feed from. This is my first year to observe hummers, and what a joy it has been. I will miss them when they all fly away. I watched at various times through out the day, but always the hour before sunset.
